| | Drop three Alka-Seltzer tablets down the sink drain followed by a cup of white vinegar, then run the hot water.
For problem limescale, pour a can of cola into the toilet, leave for an hour then brush and flush.
Put a few denture tablets into the toilet, leave for an hour and then brush and flush, or try a paste of lemon juice and salt.
Clean chrome fixtures by rubbing on a bit of vinegar and then drying and buffing with a clean soft cloth!
Place a shallow bowl of vinegar behind the toilet to absorb bathroom odours. Vinegar does not mask the smells it absorbs them.
Soak the track of your sliding shower door with full-strength vinegar then rinse it out. It will slide like new.
Wrap white vinegar soaked cloths or cotton wool around badly scaled taps for one hour, then wash with warm water and buff. |
